OMG I am glad I am not at maq if they make you do maths! The only maths I have to do is in the process of doing other stuff that is actually relevant to business.. eg statistics and accounting
I am commerce/law at ANU
Compulsary commerce units:
BUSN1001 Business reporting and analysis
STAT1008 Quantitative reseach methods
ECON1101 Microeconomics 1
ECON1102
Macroeconomics 1
and at least 2 of...
BUSN1002 Accounting processes and systems
FINM1001 Money, markets and finance
BUSN1101 Introduction to commercial law (can't choose this is you are combined with law though)
INFS1001 Foundations of electronic commerce and information systems.
and for law...
LAWS1201 Foundations of australian law
LAWS1203 Torts
LAWS1202 Lawyers, justice and ethics
LAWS1204 Contracts
LAWS1205 Australian public law
LAWS1206 Criminal law and precedure
LAWS2250 International law (I think anu is the only law school that makes international compulsary... this is because they have all the lectureres that wrote the textbooks ect. and it is apparently really strong here)
LAWS2249 Legal theory
LAWS2201 Administrative law
LAWS2202 Commonwealth constitutional law
LAWS2204 Property
LAWS2205 Equity and trusts
and compulsary to get admission to practice:
LAWS2203 Corporations law
LAWS2244 Litigtation and dispute management
LAWS2207 Evidence
and we are curious about what SCU does for their core..?????Originally posted by shazabdazla

I dont do law but i do business.
Intro to Information Systems

Legal Process and History is essentially Foundations of Law. but the Bus/LLB course puts its own introduction in, supposedly just for funOriginally posted by addz
by logic.. @uts course
i wud have thought the "foundations" course should be first learnt...so you have background b4 you start any law...unless of course that bus law thingy, is more business inclined with certain legal aspects
Yeah, I'm at UWS too, at Parra....My lecture is on Mondays though, so maybe we have different lecturers...I have Varuna Godara, what about you?Originally posted by natstar
