I'm currently doing Barts-psych and hoping to get into Law next year. Thing is, i'm not sure what is required. I do know that its 50/50 uai and gpa but i'm not sure how my gpa will convert into a uai. Does anyone have any information on this? My uai was 92.5 so i am assuming my gpa will have to be a strong d average (4 gpa) at least, in order to have a chance. if anyone has any info on what to expect then i would appreciate the help. :)

Heya cyan - u can see our big discussion of this in the "transfering to b law thread" ;)

But anyway this is what u need to do;

1. Go to SES, and ask for a LAW 114/104 application form
2. Fill out it, as well as a 1.5pgs of why you want to do law.
3. Submit it back before 19th Jan & wait for approval. When im not sure.

Asylum says that he was told by SES that it is likely to get be accepted if your gpa is 3.5 - which makes it unfair as you could have been awfully close to the cut off, but start on a "clean slate" in your fight for the position.

Quite a few ppl are trying to get in - myself, asy' , and i know of 2 other friends as well trying.
Good luck :)

edit: btw, i know wot u look like ..lol (thanks jlh) :p

Haha, another person aye.

Ive all but conceded defeat before even filling it out to be honest.

EVEN IF i get a miracle and get 3 HD's thats still only 3.0 GPA which means im still a shit load down. Additionally, 86.10 isnt too flash.

In other words. Have fun fellas :)
