Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone could please tell me the best method of approaching the study of evidence law? At the moment, I'm just looking through the Uniform Evidence Act 1995 (Cth) to get an idea of the subject.

Thanks in advance

Everything is easy and straightforward along the lines of the Uniform Evidence Act except for hearsay, which will make you hate life, and which of course you will be examined on.

I'd recommend not looking at the UEA until you start the course. Law can be a lot like learning an instrument - you can pick up bad habits (or bad interpretations) that are hard to shake later on. Wait until you have some guidance to follow.
