lecture clash!! (1 Viewer)

i have a lecture clash between MATH1131 Mathematics 1A and PHYS1131 Higher Physics 1A in Comp Eng in Semester 1, and they are both I think core subjects. It wont let me drop MATH1131 Mathematics 1A and I need to do Higher Physics 1A, what do I do!???

In first year subjects like MATH1131 there are literally hundreds of students. Obviously you can't fit every single one of them into all the same lectures. So they have different lecture streams.

Each stream runs at different times, but have the same amount of lectures and teach the same material.

If you do a class search for MATH1131:

Theres the two lecture streams. Pick the one that doesn't cause a clash for you.

thanks for that, but i still have a problem...i try to drop or swap MATH1131 Mathematics 1A but it keeps sayin "Unable To Drop Class, Corequisites Exist", am I stuck now!??

Just drop whatever your corequisite is as well, then re-enrol in them.

You pick your extra science courses in 2nd year and beyond.
