I'm doing this cartoon by Leunig ( i don't know the title) that involves a character getting out of bed in the morning, encountering a dog, arriving at a desk, day dreaming, snapping out of his daydream and then going to sleep for another day ahead. What are some techniques used to shape the insights of this journey? I've though of the juxtaposition of the frames (sad, happy, sad, happy etc) and also the descriptive words used in each frame...

Can anyone post a few techniques used to shape the insights of this journey?
