Do we have to be able to distinguish between lewis acids, or do we just need to know it's definitions? I think it appeared on my half-yearlies last time..

If you mean: can you be asked which one of these is a Lewis acid? Yes.

If you mean: can you be asked for an example of a Lewis acid (ie: you have to know some)? I *think* no.
