license acquisition for WMP (1 Viewer)

hey

whenever i try and play a file from WMP, (not porno)
it says it needs some license and a screen pops up, but nothing happens

how do i solve this?

what is the file your trying to play?

it may be copy protected. If you ripped it yourself you may have accidentaly copy protected it. Thus, if you didn't backup the licence, it is now unreadable.

its a movie i downloaded from kazaa
troy 2 be specific.
i didnt rip n e thing, lol
just straight out download

dunno, mabye it is a fake file. There are so many fakes on kazaa.

use the donkey network instead.

sorry, but i read it as playing a file in WMP - Windows Media Player.

and WMP plays lots of file types.
