After 1st round offers came out, I missed my 1st preference (Melbourne Arts), though got my second. I missed out by 0.5 on the 89.0 Clearly-In, though apparently 2nd round goes down to something strangely low like 83. Does this 83 mean that you could really possibly get in with an ENTER as low as this, or does this mean that someone got in with an 83 ENTER and additional points (ie SEAS application, rural residency, sickness). Does anyone know roughly my chances of a 2nd round offer?

Thanks.

The UAI does not necessarily fall during the later rounds. It may even increase if the demand for the course increases during the later rounds. They will always offer students with a higher UAI before students who almost reach the cut-off. However, they also set aside a number of places for those who are disadvantaged so some people may receive offers even if their UAI is slightly lower than the cut-off.
