HELP: linking texts - very important!

my teacher told me that it is important to have a vey effective link between the texts u are using, and relate each link back to the question... can anyone give me some links between my chosen texts: (in this order)

peter skrzynecki - immigrants @ central st.
peter s. - migrant hostel
shirley geok lin lim - town where time stood still
(who is this by) - MOVIE: stand by me

u don't need heaps of links, just a comple of effective ones
In my essay I only have 3 links back to my set text... one for The Town Where Time Stands Still , one for my related text and another for my 2nd related text.
