loading video files to phones? (1 Viewer)

does anyone know what file format videos need to be in to be loaded to mobiles? i have a video compatible mobile phone but when i go to load them to the phone nothing comes up under the file i need?

EDIT: i think its .prj? does anyone know a proram that will convert to this?

depends what phone you have i guess?

like my phone plays specifc avi's and wmv's cos it runs Windows Media Player
