From what I know SG-1 is still on... However, Colonel O'Neill may be an adequate team leader, yet as MacGyver he was a legend.

To top it all off we even had a MacGyver look-a-like at school many years ago.

Edit: Now that I have taken the time to watch more than the odd episode of SG1 (even at $50 a season it's still sending me broke :(), I'm of the opinion that both MacGyver and O'Neill are fantastic characters.

i remember when he had to plug these three plugs into a reactor at the same time to stop it blowing up...

seeing as he only had two hands he used the conveniently placed squash racquet's mesh to hold all three plugs and slotted them in.

GOD I LOVE YOU MACGYVER

I used to love this show so much, but now I can't even remember one single episode or even what MacGyver looked like:lol:! It has been so long since the show finished (1992)! "The Pretender" was another great show that has since finished (without a proper ending):(.

MacGyver was the best show on TV when I was younger
omg, the best episodes were those with his arch-enemy Murdoch - that guy never died either

:D

No, this is lying. 'That was a well-plotted piece of non-claptrap that never made me want to retch once.'

I think McGuver would probably lose out to McGarnigle.

Chief-They found little Timmy O' Toole in a ditch, throat cut from ear to ear.
McGarnigle-Hey, I'm trying to eat lunch here!

i cried when macgyver finished

i agree with minai, murdoc was the most hardcore arch nemisis ever

some of my favorite macgyver moments

-when he flew out of a concentration camp in a plane he'd made from bamboo and paper
-when he was trapped somewhere and used his pocket knife to send morse code over the telephone lines
-when he made a flamer out of a wheelchair
-when he was stuck on that table with the massive swinging blade, and he escaped by kicking his shoe at a manequin head that fell down and cloged up the machine
-when murdoc staged a play and then lured macgyver underneath the stage, where he was subsequently electrocuted and pushed into a flaming pool

does anyone know if you can get the seriese on DVD?
