It's nearly the end of the course.

I have about half of Quanta and 1/4 of Ideas left to do of notes.

Should I bother? I want to get onto past papers asap. I have other sources I can study from.

Thoughts?

Just make sure you have all the information cleared up but you should start on past papers. You can do both at the same time.
