For the dot point about salt regulation in different plants, apart from grey mangrove, i did Saltbush (Atriplex halimus), which accumulates salt in its vacuoles and excretes it through salt glands in its leaves.
Hope that helps.

We just did mangroves in general, like the salt on the leaves to lower evaporation of water and then dropping the leaves in the water when they get to much salt on them, active transport in the roots, the pneumatophores (spelling??) to increase Oxygen in the plant.
I'm pretty sure that's all you need to know on mangroves and the fact they live in a changign environment, ie salt water and fresh water, i forget the name of what it's called starts with an E i think.

The grey mangrove, Avicennia marina, has special salt glands in its leaves that excrete salt. Other mangroves exclude salts at their roots through ultrafiltration and a third mechanism is to store salt in leaves and then drop the leaves
