I was just wondering do any of you have any suggestions on which one out of the Maquire and Excel book is better for the General Maths HSC??

u mean study guides?
i just checked macq and it's pretty crap .. a lot of mistakes imo

oh really, i might go the excell then, even though the school text book is good for this subject. You find in most subjects the text books go on about stuff thats not on the syllabus its so stupid they should stick to it.

i think the best study guides for gen maths is either the excel book - general maths: sample exama papers and revision questions or the excel general maths essential skills (i think its called). i barely used my general mathematics excel book. its quite crap.
