I'm thinking of doing a marketing major at uni. Still not too sure at what I want to do. Don't want to do accounting or finance cos I'm really not a maths person. Would I be better off doing TAFE or private college since you can do it there?
Also do I have to do telemarketing or sales rep jobs to get into marketing?
And are the jobs for say marketing officer or market researcher on commission? That would really suck.
Also what's the advantage of doing a human resource management major at uni if you can get a job in HR without going to uni or TAFE? Any idea what other careers you can get through this major?
