My teacher gave us a bunch of info on Martin Luther, but one of our questions was about his personality, which none of this information covered.

If anyone at the moment is studying Martin Luther and knows anything about his personality I would really appreciate it!

there is heeeeeaps of info on the net about martin luther. like infinite loads.

i did read about his personality, but didn't pay too much attention to it as it wasn't strictly part of the syllabus

but from the image i got, he was a kinda 'frustrated' person - i think there was a rigidity, stubborness...coldness...about him...
especially in his younger years i think? while he was doing all his spiritual search.
it was that early period just after he gave up law to join some ministry/church/religious institution that he had this growing...religious frustration if you like.

i think he was a bit of an isolated figure, also a tad rebellious

^^That is true. I watched a documentary on his life and work on SBS last year--frustrated, to say the least--wondered whether he was the one in the wrong because God was not "answering" his prayers. Hence his quest to find out why, subsequently didn't think well of the Catholic church's idea of management and approach to spirituality, and so created the Protestant church.
