MATH1131 or MATH1041 (1 Viewer)

Hey guys,
I'm currently doing MATH1041 which is about stats. The course is ok but I was wondering if xfering to MATH1131 would be better for me to achieve higher marks? I also heard MATH1131 was similar to the HSC 2U/3U courses which means less studying

You would be kidding yourself if you think you could simply study less in MATH1131. Maybe 30% is similar. The other 70% is completely new (esp. if you haven't done 4U), and most of those topics are harder than introductory statistics.

Depending on your Science major, statistics might actually be more useful than learning linear algebra and more calculus.
