I am looking to buy a (university-level) maths formula book which covers the major theorems and important results in probability/stochastic process as well as the usual kind of engineering/applied math stuff like integral transforms, numerical methods, etc. Someone recommended me:

Handbook of Mathematics
Bronshtein, I.N., Semendyayev, K.A., Musiol, G., Muehlig, H.

Are there any titles you could recommend? (I'd prefer it be less than AU$100).

I got a feeling that this optimization problem is infeasible.

have you looked at the formula books in the library?

The thing is, it's not gonna be that common for probability theory to be in the same book as numerical methods, and for any book which does, it would probably have alot more, which will make it price more than 100

Toolchest from AMT is pretty good ($35ish) but doesn't cover uni level stuff in depth much. It's more like a reference for algebra, comb., geometry (plane, coord, solid), analysis, number theory, etc. Worth looking at. Borrow one to see if you want to buy a copy.

He has one I think.. and it's not quite the type of formula book he's looking for :p
