hey i was wondering what you get when you defferintiate this

y = 50x - pi times x^3 diveded by 2

the -pi times x^3 is only divided by 2

i get it to be 50 - 3x^2 over 2

Just wondering if thats right thankyou

there would be a pi in the differentiate (is the the correct word?... i mean answer lol) also, as it is the same as a number, so the answer would be:
50 - (3.pi.x²)/2

Pi is a constant, so you basically have to treat it as you would a 1, 2, 3 etc.

.'. d/dx (50x - pi.x3/2) = 50 - (3pi/2).x2 as Trev said.
