Now is the time some of you have just covered Mechanics in your MX2 course, are in the midst of it or will be doing so soon.
Many of you will find it an easy topic - you are the lucky ones. There are also many who will find it hard. This may be because you lack the essential background or you do not have good teachers who can really explain the underlying theory clearly.
The early parts of the Mechanics (motion of a particle in one dimension, SHM, motion in a resisting medium under gravity, projectile motion) involve quite a lot of tedious maths. The latter parts: (circular motion, conical pendulum, the inclined plane, motion around a circular banked track) is not maths heavy. But many find these harder. The underlying principles are not many - but understanding them well is the key. Even if you have not done Physics, these principles can be explained - but will need a little more time.
I am offering tuition for Mechanics, both one-on-one and for small groups (up to 3). The whole course is best covered in about 3 to 4 lessons of about 2.5 hours each. You can also go for 1 or 2 lessons for specific areas.
If you are interested, please PM me.
