hey
my ext 2 english teachers have all been suggesting to get a mentor to help me through writing short stories

does anyone kno any contacts or anything?
or any writing courses i can attend?

you might want to try the nsw writers centre
you can put an add in their newsletter

i attended a number of their courses, throughout the year, for all my english subjects which was invaluable

dont have their details with me
but if you do a search on nswwriterscentre.com.au you will find it somewhere

Email authors you admire. You'd be suprised how willing they will be to help. Try John Marsden, I know he is really into fostering young writers. But most writers will be more than happy to read your stuff and help you through.
