how do i make the text go all the way to the margin instead of half way

it doesn't work...all it does is move the colume of text to the right half side..making the left half empty..

Sorry I misread your question, just highlight the text and click the button just on the right of the one I circled (the "Justify" button)

If the lines of text are separated by new lines, the justify won't work very well. You'll need to get rid of the new lines for justify to fuly justify the text.

place your cursor in front of the word "though
and u know the ruler at the top, shift the arrow of the ruler to the point you want it to go

ok. Press the 'show white space' button. it's the one that looks like a TP but closely joined.
take a screen shot and show us.

also, what version of WORD are you using?

no nothing will work becuase his lines are using 80 characters per line i think and the lines are made by hitting an "enter" key each time, so they are no actually joined

2002..but don't worry..i manually fixed it...line by line!!!!
it was a grooling 25 min!
