i'm trying to download a MIDI into my phone as a ringtone but it's too big...does anyone know of a program or method to just cut out one section of a MIDI ??

there are professional software packages that can edit midis. like cakewalk (I think that's what it is called). But they cost $$$.

MIDI stands for Musical Instument Digital Interface.

so it is like a script, you can't easily delete sections out of it like WAV.
