Maybe he means those funny exams - they were posted up on the "thoughts of exam 2003" section i think. Like they were funny questions and stuff =p

No mock exams are the same thing as practice exams. It basically means make-believe, pirates held mock trials so they could prepare to answer questions if ever captured.
