you can try and follow what techniques your prescribed mod c texts did to make it easier

make sure u dont over do on ur prescribed though, 1 to 2 techniques from ur texts is good enough. the rest should be u discussing how you implemented etc... not how you were inspired by someone

common (and quite boring but safe) ones are diptych structure, motifs, metafiction, etc

idk about advanced but im doing standard and i def used extended metaphors and incorporated almost all types of imagery, i couldn't do kinaesthetic. Your story has to have a motif... it really helps the marker to link pieces of your story together and understand the context. All in all, in makes your story more concise.
