I'll be attempting to remember Emma/Clueless and my Frontline essay as best as i can, but that won't be word-for-word. I don't have a generic King Lear essay as the question can be really specific, so i'll just study my notes..

The fact that you guys memorise it is concerning. Is your 'memorised' word for word or just regurgitating the same techniques?

How do you go with essays at school by memorising? lol. I just don't see how you can answer the question.

Basically just my vocabulary, layout, quotes and techniques. Which i then tweak and use to answer any question.

You change ur memorised essay to fit the question. You dont actually write it out word for word (unless ur luck and gt a question that perfectly fits ur essay)

Got my essays done past papers and memorised them. Did the same for today even though it was no help.

And yea you change it to suit the question or as i did today change the question to suit the essay and fail.

In between?
I'll memorise quotes, themes, related materials, scenes, characterisation etc.
But however I put it together will be however I put it together on the day.

this is why i'm not memorising an essay. they can ask anything, themes, characters etc i have this feeling people with prepared essays will get pwned this year. i did for journeys, but that's because the question for it has to be so broad. even then it took a bit of adapting.
