why are you thinking this one?

it is ok phone, but menu system is slow and camera ain't that great
It has a really loud speaker which is good.

have you looked at the nokia 6230? It can do everything the V620 can and more, minus the flip.

I think you can get it on similar contract.

If I was in the market for a mobile, I would probably buy a SE T630. You can get one on Virgin prepaid for 200 bucks. Thats just my taste, though.

Its got a really good deal at the moment so im gunna get it.. technically im only paying 110 for the phone over the 2 years cuz calls r included.. plus free bluetooth, data cable, 50 free txts and 20 free pic msgs a mnth, and first 3mins free to any selected number..
seems pretty cool.
im not worried about how good the camera is (surely its as good as the older nokia ones eg 7250) as i have a good digital camera. I just luv the look of the phone

that's optus isn't it?

the 6230 is on $30 plan for $0 i think.

trust me, the lag does get annoying when you want to send sms and answer calls. eg. in car, i open phone, it takes 5 seconds for handsfree to activate so everytime I end up having to get the other persone to repeat what they said, grr.

the bluetooth/datacable is standard with V600+ so it isn't really a bonus :p

I got a V600 which is a V620 minus video capture.

well, don't drop it an it will be fine. I know someone who dropped a V600 and the earpiece stopped working.

I dropped mine once and it is kinda fine... it get errors sometimes when charges. ie. it goes "unable to charge", but unplugging and plugging back in fixes it.

the good thing about this phone is its really loud speakerphone/ringtones.

It was pretty straight forward for me...

you just plug in the USB cable and mobilephone tools detects/installs the phone.
mabye try a different USB port?
