mushi, I was just looking at how u got:

7. C
How many kilometres has Alex travelled when they meet?
Well, Alex and Bryan meet at 12km, and Alex started at 4km so 12-4=8km

They did not meet at 12km, they started 12km apart though.

and

18. C
I would assume the margin of error being 0.5cm either way, so you have chosen 9.5 x 14.5 (lower) and 10 x 15 shouldn't it be D....

7, asked "from when they STARTED travelling towards each other" Not from when they started travelling altogether.
Hence, me answering it as 8km.

dudditz: we dont remember what we got, a lot of us circle which answer we chose on our question paper so we can compare to others, it doesn't eat up any time of the exam really just to do a circle for each question...

2. C
3. C
4. B (I think, unless I forgot the square root...)
5. C
6. D
7. B
8. B
9. C or D - either way I know it's wrong....oh well
10. A
11. D
12. A
13. C
14. A (yes, it's wrong, no comments for this one, I just misread it.)
15. B
16. ? - can't remember
17. C
18. D
19. C
20. C (just noticed the asterixes, which makes the answer A *sob*)
21. B
22. C

Okieday, all the ones that are bold and underlined are the ones that differ but I'm pretty sure I got right, so I'm willing to compare working on these.

All the ones in bold are the ones I got different answers to the 1st 2 posts, working is very welcome unless otherwise stated.

Oh damn! I really have to get my eyes checked, lousy tricksy ppls! Didn't see the asterixs on #9, but I can give you the correct working for it anyways....

(1.29+7.23+4.13) = 12.65

12.65/110 (coz the 10% GST is included)
=0.115x10

=$1.15
