How do i get sound to come out of my headphones instead of the speakers?

The headphones do plug into the front of the computer part dont they?

Unplug the speakers, and plug in the headphones

OR

Plug the headphones into a port on the speakers

OR

Plug the headphones into the port at the front and turn off your speakers

None of those worked

Plugging them into the speaker port instead of the speakers should work fine. Do you have headphones you can test instead? Perhaps the headphones are faulty.

What connection are the headphones?
Have u tried plugging them into the port (slot/hole) with the picture of a microphone?
