No i doubt that it (the reading list) woudl have any info on it.
Reading lists are usually just a list of reccommended authors and books to read at your year level. They dont usually have any more info on it than the Author and book name.

I think she meant that if its on the year 8 reading list then he may as well just read it - it's an easy book anyway.
