When it states for example why has CVD been identified as a national health priority area? what do we include so many of my friends tell me so any different things? thanks

you should also talk about the criteria for identifying NHPA's.

- Priority population groups
- Incidence/Prevalence
- Community Costs
- Individual Costs
- Determinants
- Potential for change
- social justice principles

describe what they are, show how they can identify an area and then relate them specifically to CVD.

e.g. CVD has a large potential for change, as it is the largest cause of mortality, and has an extremely large burden on the states health. therefore, by targeting CVD, we can dramatically reduce these statistics, and thus the stats have changed greatly because we have identified CVD as a NHPA.
