I went for it last year... learnt almost nothing for it and scraped a Credit somehow :)
It's damn hard, you have to learn heaps of extra crap in your own time to do well

It is way superior than the HSC... but really, some of the stuff you'd have to learn for the HSC anyway.

jm u go to baulko?
it doesn't matter what school.

skywalker; ppl in yr 10 can sit it. (and get in, for that matter)

it's very different to hsc-type stuff.. some of its' there, but it's based on uni material.

and yes... all the girls.. ENTER....~!!!!!! there was an outrageous majority of boys getting in last year (except for bio).*ahem.

edit: just remembered.. u can enter as long as ur not doing uni next year.

you never know, there might be yr 12s willing to defer one year just to do the olympiad :p

otherwise, yeah, this shouldn't be in the hsc section... ah wellz =p

encouragement to all who's attempting.

and what sique's referring to by outrageous lil number of girl, she means, and i endorse it... it is unfortunate to see like 10 girls outa of what, 60 + ppl.

Therefore even more good luck to the girls doing it (if they happen to come across here...) !!!

Yes I know. I'm biased. I can't help it :p
