Two parallel cuurent-carrying conductors are next to each other. The one on the right (first one) has current travelling up the page while the other has current travelling down. Determine whether the conductors attract or repel each other. Explain your reasoning.
I know the answer but don't know if i expressed the answer properly.
Answer: they repel. The first conductor's magnetic field causes the second conductor to experience a force to the right and vice versa for the second conductor.
is my use of vice versa correct? does vice versa mean opposite for everything, or for the first thing (subject) mentioned?
also how do you express tesla in terms of N, m, s and C. I couldn't find it in the text books
