Need help analysing a Marking Guideline (1 Viewer)

I have a current assesment for Module B: close study of text.

In the marking criteria, one of the points is

- Shows highly developed ability to analyse and evaluate the ways meaning and perspective influence personal repsonse.

Can anybody tell me what this means and possibly how it refers to We all fall down by Robert Cormier
