NEED HELP (pretty urgently) re: taking small parts of a DVD to use in Powerpoint!!! (1 Viewer)

Hey everyone,

I'm doing a powerpoint presentation with a group of co-workers and we want to take certain parts of "The Office" to highlight certain points we make during teh presentation (and to give everyone a bit of a laugh)...

can someone please tell me a relatvely simple way to take small scenes from The Office DVD to use in the Powerpoint presentation?

first step, rip it into an avi file, www.doom9.org

then get an avi cutter and cut it to bits.

then add the avi bits to power point.



alternatively, you could put the DVD in the drive during the presentation and bookmark the bits you want and play it during the presentation (the is MUCH easier in my opinion).
