Need help with Pride and Prejudice and Letters to Alice question (1 Viewer)

Hey guys need help with an essay assignment on these two texts
The question is “Does Letters to Alice on First Reading Jane Austen offer new insights on social division or simply affirm those offered in Pride and Prejudice?”
I need help with structuring the essay and where to go for the texts
Any help is greatly appreciated

Letters to Alice is basically a guide to reading Pride and Prejudice so I'd say yes it does both offer new insights and affirm. The new insights are from Weldon showing us how Austen criticised her time by creating a character that departed from the status quo of women, marriage and so on. The affirmation comes with her own story and how Alice needs to learn the importance of literature as she is a women of the modern era, etc.
