I have my english extension 1 trial in a weeks time...
its on crime genre....and atm, im not very motivated to study...
all ive done this year...is complete two assessments...a speech and a writing portfolio...

what do u suggest i do? how can i be motivated to study?

Get interested in the subject, that's all the advice I can give.

It doesn't necessarily have to be stuff you actually work on in class, just go look on a self-interest hunt. It'll take a few hours I guess... if you're a fast reader, read some short stories and get into the mood.

Then writing in that genre will become easier, as well as more interesting. Writing about that genre should be easier too, since you know more about it.
