One question, do you know the solubility rules?
Aside, what school do you attend? what school has already done so much?

Now, the equation is:
Let's see...
PCl5 + 4H2O + H3PO4 + 5HCl

Break it down...
P5+ + Cl- + 4H+ + 4O-2 + H1 + PO43- + 5H+ + 5Cl-

And we get... what do we get?

oh dear lucid... water will never ionise to such an extreme degree (into 2H+ and O2-

just found something on PCl5 in my 3rd year lect notes... it act as a reactant if in present of a ortho-hydroxypyridine and replaces the oxygen with a chloride...

i don't believe water is strong enough to react in such a way....

where did you get this question from?!
