i agree with rahul. The new HSC syllabus is relatively new. so if theyre going to change anything, then theyre only going to chop things out rather than add

it's a bit ironic how the seriesa are called 'excel' when in fact the quality of the books are substandard and are useless for 90% of HSC students.

I thought that the excel was quite a good book.
If I ever had trouble understanding certain concepts in the physics syllabus I would go to excel.
The notes in there are pretty simple and easier to understand cos they're to the point.
And it doesn't really whaffle on...

lolz, chill, chill... excel is useful for the 90% of hsc student ok??

whereas for the rest 10%, excel is simply insufficient... infact, i used excel... comparing to other excel series (aprt form 4u maths) it is actually the best excel i know of... ^^

but then, there's always spotlight... and jacaranda... out there... somewhere...

nah, spotlight is alryte... whenever i had doubts, i go to spotlight first... it contains almost all the info u need, and like abt 30% of extra knowledge which u don't need, but nice to know stuff... =)

my excels came with study cards which are quite good. I have them for all my subjects except ancient and i find them very helpful especially when my physics teacher is a dead loss

Damn straight, I have both though cos I picked excel up for $5 second hand
