Hello
Just failed in my attempt to transfer to engineering/commerce (UNSW) from straight engineering,
My UAI (Non 2005 HSC) was 81 and the Start of year commerce UAI was 95.0.
Assuming the NRSL is 92 or 91 ..? (or whatever)..
According to Frigids' stickied post above, since they take half UAI and half GPA, it be totally pointless to try again to transfer at the end of year rounds (with the 06 hsc cohort) ?
Since I would need a GPA 'selection rank; of over 100..?
Feeling a bit hard done by here, have a friend with a lower wam/gpa (in arts..) (but admittedly a 90.x uai) who this morning managed to get into combined arts/comm from straight arts
Im stuck with an 81 uai but a distinction _engineering_ wam / high credit gpa and unable to go through.
Is it worth my 41$ (or whatever they raise it to) to attempt again at the end of year? - considering, even if i HD every subject I take this year, my Gpa will not signifcantly increase) ?
Thanks for reading, SM.
