So what are the plans anyone know? Or perhaps we should start looking to conception day already XD i know i am

o week is overrated... nothing happens... chicks try and get you to join their clubs... thats it... and if your like me you join and do completely nothing...

conception day is like sooo far away... when is it again?
and how do we second years get diarys since we dont go in and enrol?

Don't freak out lemon, O week is just how OJ described it... but it gives you a reason to be lazy! And I think we pick the sam diary up from the sam building or something... i remember seeing some lying around randomly at the beginning of last year. Is it true about keeping our student ID's the same? that would be great, coz its the first (and probably last) ID photo of myself that I can deal with showing people without cringing!


Oh, and dont get too excited about conception day. its crap. the lines are long and all there is is a few t-shirt-like stalls, lots of drunk people and some loud, crap music... not to burst your bubble, but I figure you should know the truth

All I know about O-week is that that's when I've been advised to buy my books... "Because then you only queue for half an hour, as opposed to a full hour and a half..."

All this uni stuff makes my head spin.

Conception day is supposedly the day when MQ uni was built or the idea popped into some guys head or something...I forgot. It's sometime in semester two I think. The previous description of conception day is correct...

I think there's also a SAM week which is on before uni starts, but I didn't go.

ok conception day was overrated but it was alrght... i mean it was during the day... nothing happens during the day, plus it was a day off... and its not like its compulsory...
if you were in the raver tent at night... you woulda had fun... that was awesome!

conception day is the day the guy who mac is named after / founded by was 'conceived.' it's 9 months before his birthday.
