does anyone know if a band called "the panics" is playing at unsw o-week?

I have heard they are, although it doesn't say they are on the letter UNSW sent all the first-years. I think they are the support act for Eskimo Joe.

As far as I know the supports for Eskimo Joe are The Outfit and The RedSunBand.

We have not been told the supports for Sarah Blasko as of yet but I have also heard the panics mentioned in oweek discussions, although it may have been discussion about another uni... :S

Will let you know once I know.

didn't remember that at TD1 - i think i was too excited about the redsunband and sarah blasko lol.

EDIT: I have checked the panics site and it doesn't mention it on their gigs site at all, but there is a gap in there on the 23rd which could make them support for sarah blasko

The Panics are playing support for Machine Gun Fellatio at Manning Bar during USyd O-Week (Friday March 4th), although that doesn't preclude them from playing at UNSW too.

But if you're not a UNSW student, you have to buy tickets to the gig through Ticketek.

Grrr now I'm confused, it says redsunband and The Outfit are supporting but I'm sure the Panics feature somewhere in O-Week....

hmm.... I was talking to someone who saw the panics live on Saturday and he seems to think that two of the members were having a riff.

You have to pay for Eskimo Joe regardless of whether you are a student or not.
It is still exceptionally cheap if you are a student - 10 or 15 dollars I believe. and about 25 for others. Considering they charge roughly double that for any other gig and the standard of support bands Its worth the money.
