Hi, I'm looking for opinions on the English tutoring centre, HD Tutoring from Lansvale, run by someone called Ms Hien.
I was told that it was a good place that helped with essay writing and other English related stuff, is this true?
I went there for two months before I left, and the content was purely based around novel study. All we did was analyse a text and once we were finished, we moved on to analyse different text. We copied down information from a powerpoint into our books. This wasn't very helpful, considering the fact that I didn't do these texts at school and we didn't learn how to write essays or creative writing by ourselves.
Was this just one section of a bigger teach syllabus, or was analysing different texts all this tutoring does?
