There is no requirement to go. But its the 'done thing'.

I, myself, am considering not going. I see little need.

You decide subjects on enrolment day, thus i'd assume you would know your timetable. Atleast be able to search it online.

Uni starts 27th Feb. Though, your time table might alter that [might start on a Tuesday, for example.]

so does that mean that we will automatically get the timetable at enrolement as soon as we choose our subjects
