(a) Write down the equation of the chord of contact of the parabola x^2= 4ay from the point P (x0,y0) then write it in gradient-intercept form.

(b) Let this chord meet the axis of the parabola at T, and let the line through P parallel to the axis meet the parabola at N. Use part (a) to show that: the chord is parallel to the tangent to the parabola at N.

could do part (a) but part (b) stumped me. Any help please?

thanks heaps, omg most stupid mistake in part (a), when dividing by 2a i forgot to do that to the x0 so i never get x0/2a!
