Do we use the old Syc ward buildings or are their new buildings that we use, cause when i was their for RET the old buildings were in a shocking state of disrepair

The time I went to parra campus for a bridging course, it wasn't that bad. But you have to remember that cause of parras history they can't build huge brand new buildings.

Yeah i know about the history, my uncle used to work there and was involved in the formation of group housing for the mentally ill, and closing down asylums

Then quit complaining about the rooms.

the Syc building? where is it? ive never heard of it. i thought it was a room...my mistake

The entire campus used to be an asylum except building prior 1985 at least

Yer i know but the least they could do would be to fix them up, they seem so small and neglected

You can't fix them. You cannot build brand new state of the art lecture rooms on a historical site. Its against government regulations. If you don't like it, then leave.

You dont understand, im not say alter them, what im saying is take care of them and bring them back up to the standard they were in, my highschool had a histroical building and were able to fix it up with renovations

Have you been to other campuses??? Parramatta is in better shape than what the hawkesbury campus is.

Your highschool probably had different legislation covering the building. Do you suppose that they restore it back to a mental institution

No, obviously not, but i guess you realise that already. I havent been to Hawksbury, only parra and penrith
