Past final exams (1 Viewer)

For anyone who wants to get a hold of past papers, you can do so through the library website here.

Set "Field to search" as "Course Code" and "Type" as "Exam Papers", then put the course code of the subject in the "Search for" section. It's usually final exams only, not midsessions, and they don't have worked solutions or even answers (to my knowledge). But in case you aren't given any past papers by your lecturer, then you can actually access them online.

As a tip, if something appered in a final exam last year, and the year before, and the year before, etc, it means that it will probably be in it this year (unlike the HSC where it was the opposite).

Good luck!

There are also hard copies of some exam papers in the library on level 4 (although these tend to be older).

If you're an accounting student, make a note that some questions may not be applicable for future exams, due to the adoption of IFRS.

I'm doing ACCT3563 (3rd yr financial accounting) and since this is the first year of the IFRS, some of the topics are a mess and the lecturers are literally arguing with each other over the correct methods of questions etc...

Thanks for that minai.

Any tips for ACCT2522 ? For me, all the topics in the course seem to be related in a way that makes it somewhat confusing and in a sense, contradictary.

Isn't 2522 a piece of cake?

Just remember your theories well, because you'll have to explain things
Also have a good knowledge of those process theories and how to apply the critical path method etc. Yeah and all that activity based costing stuff.
The final exam shouldn't be too hard if your up to date with tute work.

They;ll probably tell you whats in the exam in your wk14 lecture (by that i mean what topics will be examined specifically)

mm yes they are - however, Jason tends to give you major hints on what the questions will be on (ie, he'll go for Q1 it'll be on negligent misstatement, Q2 will be on constitutional law etc
