Physics Question: Female Physicists ? IS THERE ANY! (1 Viewer)

For an assignment i we have to answer --> "Identify ONE practising male and female Australian Scientist, the areas in which they are currently working and information about their research". BUT i cant find ANY australian female physicists currently practicing... Can anyone help? As soon as possible would be good :). thanks

From the title i thought this was going to be a thread about some nerd who couldn't get any. Its a dumb questions, there is male nurses etc. No job is gender limited.

Well this is a bit late

But in the Jacaranda Text Book there is a section on

Amal Hanna

on page166 in the text book

Has more than enough ample info

Actually, that is my main beef with the Jacaranda Physics book. It does not address females in Physics as much as past text books did.

Another way to find a female in Physics is go to the CSIRO website and perhaps do a search there, or Sydney Uni Physics department on the web.
