Same as dreamerish's chem game only for physics
The idea is to define a word starting with the last letter of the previous post
I'll start off:

Jacaranda: The textbook I'm using!
just kiddin
on a more serious note:

inertial frame of reference: non-accelerated steady motion, standing at rest or moving at a uniform velocity

:)

Quanta to Quarks, since this is my greatest interest lies

The Standard Model

The Standard Model of particle physics is a theory which describes the strong, weak, and electromagnetic fundamental forces, as well as the fundamental particles that make up all matter. Developed between 1970 and 1973, it is a quantum field theory, and consistent with both quantum mechanics and special relativity. To date, almost all experimental tests of the three forces described by the Standard Model have agreed with its predictions. However, the Standard Model is not a complete theory of fundamental interactions, primarily because it does not describe gravity.

Details

The Standard Model contains both fermionic and bosonic fundamental particles. Fermions are particles which possess half-integer spin and obey the Pauli exclusion principle, which states that no fermions can share the same quantum state. Bosons possess integer spin and do not obey the Pauli exclusion principle. Informally speaking, fermions are particles of matter and bosons are particles that transmit forces.

I could go on, but meh

slingshot effect also known as a plantary swing by or gravity assisted manovoure
During a sling shot, a spacecraft deliberately passes close to a large mass, such as a planet so the mass's gravity pulls the spacecraft towards it. This causes the spacecraft to accelerate and head around the planet and departs in a different direction. The departure speed of the spacecraft relative to the planet is the same as the approach speed relative to the planet, but the change in direction can result in a real change in velocity relative to the sun

leptons are the subgroup of fermions which do not experience the strong nuclear force

A current-carrying conductor experience a force in a magnetic field, thats perpendicular to the direction of current and magnetic field direction. - The motor effect.
