A rocket with a total mass of 105000 kg (including fuel, supplies and crew) is launched from the ground on Earth. The thrust force applied by the rocket is a constant 2875000 netwons.

The consequent acceleration applied to a 70-kilogram female astronaut on board would be approx. equal to?

(A) 41 km/s upwards
(B) 27.4 m/s upwards
(C) 17.6 m/s upwards
(D) 3 'g' vertically downwards

where is this question from anyways this is the working

a=(T-mg)/m

(2875000-105000x9.8)/105000
a= 17.6 metres per sec per sec

Since all occupants will experience the same acceleration ...............answer = (c)
